Federal Way records are split among city, King County, court, state, and library custodians. We built this private reference site to connect those separate routes so you can reach the right official portal, request desk, or research collection with less guesswork.

Why This Site Exists

Federal Way City Hall is not a one-stop records office. The King County Recorder keeps deeds, liens, and recorded marriage returns. Washington Courts supplies a party-name reference search, while the official file remains with the court that heard the case. The Assessor connects addresses and parcels to tax-roll facts. King County Elections and the Secretary of State manage voter information under Washington law. Vital certificates, professional credentials, business filings, and KCLS genealogy resources add more custodians.
